Current Volunteers & Farmhands
Bubba
Bubba is not only a neighbor, he’s a hardworking farmhand that helps us feed the herd each day. Bubba is an outspoken evangelist for Freedom & Whiskey Equine Rescue, helping us spread the word about our services within the community and introducing the rescue to potential volunteers.
Josh
Josh is one of the farmhands that we use to maintain the property, feed and care for the animals, and he helps us with various farm tasks that keep the farm operating. From various chores to lending a helping hand, Josh has been a valued member of the Freedom & Whiskey Equine Rescue team for several years.
Samantha
Samantha is our longest-standing volunteer and has maintained her connection and desire to volunteer through our recent move, more than an hour away from her house. Samantha is a hard-working volunteer with tons of compassion and love for our rescue horses. Samantha makes the trek when she can to visit the herd where she grooms, bathes, and loves on the horses here at the farm.
